If you cook something, post up a photo of it.

Slow cooking from a few days ago...simply set it in the morning and return after work:

Note: cook potatoes ahead of time...it took a total of 12 hours on low to get the potatoes right

Tonight...I had lots of fresh veggies left over from the slow cooked meal...so I added meat and marinade to produce some sort of stir fry. I later mixed in rice as a second thought to finish this off...

I have that same crock pot!
It was my moms old one and she gave it to me when I moved out.

I made some chili in it last week, WITH BACON!

Here is another one from my archives...

Steak, half a baked potato, asparagus, and shrimp. This probably works out to about $5 in materials since I use bits and pieces of larger packs of items through the week, trying to mix it up a little. I only eat steak/beef about twice a week, but you'd think I do it more from the pics, lol.

True, but redeemed by the remote and game controller on the table.

What is that funny, brownish looking stuff in the mug?

Oh, that can of Bud -- Ain't that a Danish brew now?

That stuff was supposed to be tea - just a sample pack I picked up that had a half dozen flavors.

By the end of this week I'm trying to get a BBQ Pulled Beef Sandwich thing going in the crock pot. I think pork is more the norm for this type of sandwich (as is cooking it in a smoker), but I'm trying to avoid pork and too much effort. I've lazed a bit with the meals, and it just isn't satisfying to take pictures of heated meals vs. something you actually cook.

Here is a breakfast item that takes about 10 minutes with enough heat applied...

1 English muffin (toasted)
3 strips of bacon
1 hash-brown patty
1 slice of cheese (pepper jack)
1 egg
salt & pepper to taste

Brown sauce to make it perfect!
