all I wanted was a sign where to find something
about WLAN...I am writing an essay...any help is needed

Welcome katrines..

Anything particular part about WLAN you're interested in? It is a broad subject.. Just like anything and everything ICT related ;)

Setting up? Different speeds/standards? Securing?
I'm sure there are quite a few people here that can answer your questions.
Have a look through the wireless networking section, maybe that will give you a few idea's 8)
