Back amongst you :o)

Post: # 133593Post DaFoxx

once again, Hi all :)
it has been a while since I last attended here
but I will attempt to make at least one useless post each day from now on
might even actually post something useful

SHOULD now have some time too
as I have smashed my motorcycle up
giving myself a fractured left Tibial plateau in the process
so now find myself out of work, probably until September :(

having a problem getting leg to bend under desk
so I will be here for short bursts
and that will proably be enough for most of you

but just remember who I actually AM :P
I am the man with the keys to the BAR
and I have one hell of a thirst building

so I am now about to empty a rather nice bottle of Merlot
although to be fair, it wouldn't make any difference if it was a shite bottle
it is still going to be emptied :D

cheers all
DaFoxx

Glad to see you back ... I wondered if you'd fallen from the mortal conveyor belt!

I hope that you don't get too bored whilst you're recovering.

It's a shame about the reason but it's good to see your name around here again :good:

Now move over and let us in the bar, we've waited long enough for it to open!

Silly old f^cker!

Welcome to you next bike

Image

And I'm getting stabilisers fitted to it.

So did you highside or lowside? I hope at least it was an impressive crash and you didn't just run over someone's cat at 15mph and fall in a ditch.

Still if you get it back you can either make it into a mental street bike or put the engine into a Daihatsu Hijet.

it was a high side what done it
a whole 2 mph :(
leaving work [ NHS Hospital in Liverpool]
engine revs died, then came back
by which time I was turning right out of car park
bike flipped me into road
ambulance leaving hospital stopped to pick me up, so was off road and into hospital within 10 minutes :)
in there a week
got out Christmas Eve
bike [ Kawasaki ZX12R Ninja ] is trashed :(
damage, although to look at it is 'only' cosmetic, has gone WAY over the 60% cost of bikes worth
so have now got my brothers Honda VFR 750 to use once I get back up and mobile
still filling in forms to see what, if anything, I can claim for whilst I am out of work
so far - NADA
still, mustn't grumble :P, there's always heroin :D

fuggin plastics are dear ain't they.

Sounds like nothing terminal. I'd buy it back and start hitting the breakers. It'll only be worth dumping if you've twisted the frame or forks.

I crashed a Honda 125cc with the same thing when I was learning. Turned the corner and the thing coughed then lurched forward. Noob hand gripped tight opened the throttle even more and and bounced off the kerb into a big puddle. Wounded pride and a bent mirror and indicator stalk. Few boots with a size 42 and off I went.

I'm sure that makes you feel f^ckin loads better :rolf6:

Never mind Fox, you heal for free and it sounds like you'll run the green meanie again.
