Well welcome to the madness that is the taz!

Computer Science is a very easy concept once you learn the basics:

FIRST: Drink Often. Spend the first few years of study, creating your own special drink.
SECOND: Drink A Lot. No matter what you learn you will not be able to apply your knowledge in the world of lusers.
THIRD: LART! Google it, Learn it, Live it...
FORTH: It is not coincidence that UNIX and LSD came out of Berkley at the same time. (actually that's not true, but sounds real cool)
FIFTH: Drink a lot or find another profession. Preferably one that does not include Fries!

My advice is stay the hell away from the part of CS covering propositional calculus.

Haha yeah indeed in my uni the propositional calculus is not covered (maybe discreete maths will) but pure calculus in my first year study which mostly not really related to the CS is really a hell of nightmare!!

Welcome :)

I'm currently too drunk to say anything meaningful. It's hard enough to type without spelling errors

Heh, it seems if you pass everything else they let you off the propositional calculus unit.

It's 10:25am here, I've just found out i have no resit and a full honours degree instead. too early for beer?

It's never too early for beer!

It's warm, find somewhere with a beer garden and enjoy the rest of the day!
