bloody cold nights

The place to kick back, relax, post general bullshit, and grill a few on the BBQ. Whatever doesn't fit into another forum would go here. We periodically go through and move posts to the correct forum, but we do charge a case of Beer every time we have to.

bloody cold nights

I had to go to a meeting for the Touch Football last night, first official one since the new committee came on board. It was cold and had been raining through the day ..... and I had to go outside away from my lovely warm fire  We could have been out of there in an hour if we had just stuck to business  but most of us hadn't seen each other for a couple of months and had a mile of gossip to catch up on

I didn't get home till after 10pm and I have made a resolution not to leave the house after 5.30pm in winter unless there is an emergency.

Raining and miserable again today ...... I'm fading through lack of sunlight

Growing up in Saudi Arabia, we only got rain once a year but man when it came, forget it, school was out for a week! Needless to say, I'm used to heat, hehe....110 degrees baby!

It usually is dry and hot, we've spent too long in drought and now have to get used to some rain

Raining and cold again today, but the weather forecast says sunny days ahead :D Which is good really, because the kids have their last day of school tomorrow before a couple of weeks of school holidays.

There is a nip in the air.
