Couldn't submit Post 2 until roughly 2 minutes after Post 1 was submitted - kept getting this message in the post edit window:

"You cannot make another post so soon after your last."

This could have serious repercussions if I ever decided to bring back the glory days and go on an epic postwhore conquest again.. I kid of course - what is the flood limit set at now?

My posting restrictions seem to have been lifted.

Well, I may have spoken too soon.

But, then again, that may be one way to keep me from post-whoring so much.

:death1:

after a PM from dino, to say he couldn't post for two DAYS after his first post
I checked, it was set to 180 sec, now at 120 sec, it was only added to try and slow down the spam accounts from posting too much too quick, but admin required to accept new accounts has culled that anyway :)

there are other limits now in place, you have a day to edit, and 12 hours to delete

the word censor is still running, hence the odd naming convention for said member
will be adding new ones as and when :D

Hey, I like that word censor. Really cool. Could provide endless entertainment if you use the spammers' key words and let them post.

Just sayin'.

now THAT's a great idea
go get 'em

and even though this thread is in public sector, I don't care. let them see we actually like our bit of the wwweb
maybe get some new peeps because of it
IF I let the right ones through 'natch :)

I suggest we set a few bombs in the censor, then we take admin req off new accounts for shitz n giggles

may I suggest we add w.ww to censor ?? WE know how to put a link in without worrying it isnt active, but spam needs quick click kills to work
