Hey guys!

The place to kick back, relax, post general bullshit, and grill a few on the BBQ. Whatever doesn't fit into another forum would go here. We periodically go through and move posts to the correct forum, but we do charge a case of Beer every time we have to.

Long time no see!

Had a chat with Dinowuff on facebook the other day and decided to stop by again...

How has everyone been?
I'm just swamped and exhausted from work, real life sucks I'm not sure why I was soo looking forward to it while I was still a student.
Can't believe I graduated a year ago, time really flies when all you do is live for the weekend I guess.

Seems the older you get the less ' in demand ' you are...my job hasn't even covered the bills the last 3-4 months ( luckily I got my $1800 tax refund to help cover some stuff, now they're coming after me for another $3000 in back CPP contributions :crying2: ) but the thought of ' looking ' for something else is depressing...
everyone wants the young studs coming out of College...not some old man who is way past his prime

So I completely understand where your Father is at the moment. It's not easy.

If things don't improve soon I won't have a choice but to find something else...and I'm not looking forward to it.

Yep , I was working in Saint John at the time they came out with GST and the Maritimes went with the HST ...that 8% sure hasn't created any new jobs there ;)
