I'm glad I don't have to pay for my petrol ... It's always good bargoning to ask for a petrol card with the company car, unlimited (when in Benelux that is). But that's ok ... I fill up, drive to the family in Germany, and drive back, just behind the border I fill up again

Yeah, and my wife asked why I was thinking of buying locking gas caps for the cars and why I want her to take a look at the new hybrid SUV that gets 40 miles per gallon.

Mal: I'm standing right here.
Jayne: You're coming through good and loud.
Mal: 'Cause I'm standing right here.

Yep... somewhere else I read that the average tank of fuel cost £7.50 ish more than this time last year... It really makes me sick to see the £ metre move faster than the litre one!

Another article by the WSJ:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1199320 ... whats_news

The posting may change it's URL, but that's what we have so far. It will be interesting when China, Russia and Venezuela take over the world. I'm going to go by a Hummer - *cough* the vehicle and head to the mountains! :P

They also have a few presentations there about the possible effects of the oil price increase; sorry that it's US centric. Hey, what happened to the air cars we were supposed to have and the robot butlers and maids!?!? Oooooo - now I'm pissed! Heh.
