Give an inch, take a mile...

Homeland Security, Airport x-rays, etc...etc...etc...

not that the erosion or neglect of ' rights ' isn't a constant, the poor and disenfranchised have always had their rights trampled on, but...now it's also the middle class and lower-upper class...

the only ones that seem to be immune now are the filthy rich. ;)

There's been a trend recently of companies refusing to hire people unless they provide their Facebook login credentials. They're not allowed to explicitly ask you about your race, orientation, age, or a host of other things...but they're allowed to demand your credentials to a social networking site that has all of that data and more? How's that work? Not to mention it's against the Facebook ToS.

That was some government agency asking for that, no one has shown where "Companies" have done so

Just because the idiots in the AZ state legislature passed it, doesn't mean it will survive the Governor's pen or the state supreme court. C'mon, these are they same fools who thought they could establish immigration law at the state level. This would definitely be on track for consideration in federal appeals or SCOTUS. But, the law is so ridiculously stupid even the idiots in the MPAA and RIAA are against it:

Go figure, they _GET_ that, but miss everything else?!?!?!

Message to AZ: What's with passing laws you have absolutely no authority or jurisdiction to enforce?

Jayne: You're coming through good and loud.
Mal: 'Cause I'm standing right here.
