New game ordered WOOT!

Post: # 87068Post Vorlin

I've got me a new game ordered! It comes out October 31 (I'll probably get mine on Nov. 1 or 2). It's Hellgate: London and you get some cool stuff if you spend the extra 10 bucks and get the collector's edition (see here).
I'm pumped! Been tracking this game since it originally was announced. Gamespot has a ton of gameplay movies and official trailers. Anyone else getting it?

The one I was really looking forward to was Stranglehold. My housemate's going to get it soon, so hopefully, I get a free ride on it :D. I'd also LOVE to play Halo 3. The Forge looks awesome! Except, I don't have an XBox 360 :(.

Cheers,

I'll definitely let you guys know when the UK release is! Flagship Studios is the developing company with EA behind them (I'm not an EA fan but FSS has a crew that comes from the Diablo and Diablo 2 team) so I'm pretty confident it'll be a great game. One thing that I love about this game already is that it's got both single-player campaign mode and a pay-to-play MP side. Not sure what the differences are totally but it'll kick @$$ either way.

I'm also getting Unreal Tournament 3 which comes out in November and that's gonna be a riot. I've been working on the demo so far and the action is CRAZY! I love it!

I've recently installed Civilization 3 again with its expansion packs. Pretty fun, and the turn by turn playstyle lets me tune in and out.

Really gotta get a new computer soon, UT3 looks amazing. Loved the mobility of the original UT.

I'm reverting a bit - having weaned myself off WoW -

Sid Mier's Pirates! ftw - and for added coolness get the (very free at firaxis site) patch AND skins updates.

Pirates, eh! It's the first time I've heard of that one, will have to give it a go sometime. Gotta be honest though, I hate the sea components of civilization. I usually play the big land based maps.

What realm did you play warcraft on ?? I played hardcore (6hours/day at least) on blackrock till around christmas last year. Took a bit of a break and just played casually this year, but don't play anymore.

Still keep in touch with my guild though, and saw some cool new stuff in a recent/upcoming patch. Had to fight the urge to renew the subscription hehe.

I can't wait for UT3! Hellgate: London doesn't look like my type of game, but UT3... ;)

I've got Halo 3, by the way - it's a BRILLIANT game! I haven't played it online yet (and doubt I will - the fact that you have to pay to use Xbox Live even though you've already paid a huge amount for the 360 really irritates me, and it's the same with subscription games like WoW), but the campaign mode is excellent.
