just live with it
That's the one thing I can never accept.

Everything can change. The only question is when.

I'm sure they said the same thing about Rome.

I have had discussions in that God was indeed the serpent in the garden. I don't see that even being a remote possibility, but I would be interested in hearing the theory. I recently heard that the serpent was not originally attributed to being Satan; rather the church added that later. I am defini...

3) Or Else! True, there is the or else, but most things in life outside of religion come with an or else regardless. Actions, choices have consequences be they for the better or the worse. Don't love your neighbor, you won't make a happy neighbor. Don't love your God, you won't have a happy God. I ...

Now you don't expect me to answer each one of those in one post do you? If you have the patience, we can weed through them...but for now I'll just hit on one I thought was particularly interesting: Apart from Jesus did anyone else ascend to heaven? No (John 3:13) Yes “And Elijah went up by a whirlwi...

Any person who does not have the balls to make a decision in a marriage deserves to be PWNED. BUT any man or woman who does not consider the partners rights/position etc..is no more than a tyrant A great marriage is when a couple find the balance.. I agree with that. From a psychologists point of v...

But anybody who thinks that a certain book holds the absolute truth needs to have their head examined. I don't believe anything in the Bible is false , but at the same time I don't believe it's the one-stop source for all truth in the universe either. There are plenty of truths out there the Bible ...

Not all nondenominational Christians are like that, as should be noted. Some are simply sick of the "my god is better than yours" infighting among denominations, which is one of the key things ruining the religion today. I myself do not adhere to one denomination, but I am not wishy-washy on my view...

Guys...

So I've heard reported elsewhere that the kid has a little radio show and is well known for doing stunts like this for publicity.

And after the cameras shut off, he told the officers "you did the right thing".

It was all setup, and the public bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Cheers. I've long said the 'giant glass parking lot' effect is what needs to occur in the middle east. Just nuke 'em and be done with it. Wouldn't that virtually be genocide though? There are plenty of middle easterners who are not religious fanatic terrorist wannabes. Or are you saying the collate...

So saying people helping other people is a result of religion, I don't think so. That's not what I'm saying either. But saying religion has done nothing good, I don't think so. ;) In the cases I'm talking about, these good deeds are being done because of faith. Religion/faith at times drive people ...

well, I've been alive for only 40 some odd years. I've never seen anything good come from religion. Except for the occasional midnight screening of Robert Tipton [sp] One of the centuries best comedians - possibility of all times. I've been alive 28 and have seen many good things come from religion...
